What exactly happens at an allergy clinic?

We've got an appointment for our DD (3) for allergy testing. She has a nut allergy. Can anyone with experience please tell me what happens at this appointment? I haven't given her strawberries, kiwi, and soya yet and as she had a severe allergic reaction to nuts I am a bit worried to try her with these in case she has an allergic reaction to these too. Would I come out of this appointment finding out if she is allergic to these too? Or should I just take a strawberry, kiwi and soya with me and ask them to test her for them? Sorry , I know I sound really silly, but food allergies are new to us as none of us or our family members have any known food allergies.

I took my son to one about fish allergy once. When we got there, they asked if I had brought pieces of fish and shellfish for prick tests but no one had asked me to. We had to go back. Can't hurt to take it?

They will do skin prick tests based on history so take anything you want them to test. They usually have nuts and egg but take anything else. At our clinic they then did blood tests and we saw the dietician as well. I think it varies depending on the clinic. They should tell you what to expect in a letter

Thank you very much for replying. I think I will take some stuff with me. The letter doesn't really give any info apart from appointment and cancellation details.
