Hit me with your cheese cracker recommendations!

I’m planning on buying a variety of cheeses for me and DP for the Christmas period, something which I have never done before!

I know the sort of cheeses I’d like to get but has anyone got recommendations for crackers? I know there are a lot to choose from but I never really have them in.

I really don’t like anything sweet and savoury mixed together so wouldn’t like any sweet biscuits or crackers.

Any poppy seed or water biscuits.

I have twice tried different 'posh' crackers and they were awful

I mean charcoal wtf

The Aldi and Lidl sea salt crackers that pp have mentioned. I always have a packet of these on the go. I keep a packet in my office at work too. Great with or without cheese. M&S do a cheese cracker with onion and poppy seeds which are lovely too, they are my second faves.

Carr's Melts (not the cheese ones) or Asda multigrain crackers.

Aldi have a fantastic selection of crackers in their Christmas range with the Christmas biscuits, Christmas puddings etc in the middle aisle.

Selection packs of fancier crackers (naicer than the standard Jacobs selection), Peter's Yard style sourdough/charcoal/beetroot squares and teeny little nibbly crackers you can pour out into a dish with tasty flavours.

I was impressed!

They also have various types of waxed cheese truckles in the Christmas food chiller plus pates and chutneys.

Thanks for all the suggestions, some of these sound delicious!

@ILikeStrongTea I thought I was the only one! I have tried sweet and savoury together many times to try to understand it but nope, it’s not for me.

Tesco garlic crackers are so nice. I like them with halloumi and gherkin

Lots of these would be lovely with butter or dips but would be way too strong with any decent cheese!
