Don't bother. I have a brilliant Mary Berry ice cream recipe that doesn't require an ice cream maker. Will link later.

Wow! Thanks @Ginfordinner Smile

Amazon 😬

They are fine as long as you remember to freeze the bowl (or have enough space in the freezer to leave it in all the time).

That recipe sounds good but what's the deal with raw eggs? Is it safe to eat them frozen? I can't see Mary Berry trying to give us salmonella.

This is delicious and so easy!

Eggs were declared to be salmonella free some time ago, but there has been a recent salmonella scare. Eggs from Aldi, Asda, Costco, Morrisons and Sainsburys have been affected. I generally buy mine from Tesco, and there have been no warnings about Tesco eggs as yet.

Here is an egg free no churn recipe. As I don't have room for an ice cream maker (and we don't eat it often enough to justify having one) I just use recipes that I can freeze.
