Related to my other thread but more specific... are these worth it?

They are wonderful. I had one when we had a whole new kitchen about 15 years ago, and when it needed replacing last year, I balked a bit at the price (had sort of been part of the whole kitchen and I'd not looked at the itemised detail when we had the kitchen done) so got an ordinary one.
I can't believe how much I miss it.
I'm really quite cross with myself.

Bufferingkisses · 24/11/2020 23:39

Absolutely love mine, really wouldn't be without one now and I'm not a kitchen/gadget type at all.

We bought one 20 years ago. Really would miss it!

I love mine. Use the pull out bit all the time for filling heavy pots, rinsing around large containers, reaching the corners of the sink etc. Definitely worth the money to me.

LittleRen · 24/11/2020 23:41

They are brilliant, couldn’t do without one.

We have one in the office kitchen. That's also got a button to switch between a regular spout and a shower spray kind of thing. Dead handy for rinsing mugs. But I'm not desperate to get one at home.

Aquamarine1029 · 25/11/2020 02:03

I wouldn't be without one.

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 25/11/2020 02:45

Not in the same league but I bought an extension from eBay for £3 that converts my bog standard kitchen tap into a dangly directional tap 😂

I unscrew it and soak it in Kilrock to overcome the limescale build up or simply buy a new one 🙂

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 25/11/2020 02:46

(you can switch it between normal flow and shower spray too)

SenorFrog · 25/11/2020 02:55

Yes worth it. Dh sbd I have an ongoing battle, I prefer a regular stream but he prefers the jet spray.

Bufferingkisses · 25/11/2020 07:23

It's little things like, I can fill a mop bucket without lifting it into the sink (and out again obviously), I can rinse a large baking tray without tipping it round and spreading water about, stuff like that which I would miss. Mine is a really simple one with a long hose down the back of the cabinet with a weight on. The idea being it has no parts to go wrong - and it was much cheaper than the telescopic type.

BackforGood · 25/11/2020 21:38

Ooh. That sounds exciting @GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 25/11/2020 22:10

@BackforGood it's item 154034687907!

Not a telescopic tap granted but it's given my kitchen sink a new lease of life 😁
