When buying kids clothes off Ebay, what do you look for?

What would attract your attention? Mixes bundles? Better makes? Brand new? Are you bothered if you buy a bundle of things and one item has a minor mark on it? Or do you want pristine?

I like things to be described accurately, the size in inches or cm, the condition, washing instructions, and any flaws.
I don't mind flaws as long as I know about them before bidding. (especially on kids everyday clothes, I can put on a patch or something. I don't mind having to replace buttons, because I often used to replace them with novelty buttons anyway.)
Bundles of like items are good, to make the most of postage. Problem with doing that is you always get people who want you to split so be tough and don't worry about saying no.

I look for specific brands.

Then I will search for specific styles and colours.

I expect condition to be accurately described. If the item is a good brand/designer, I don't mind a little wear but won't buy anything that is obviously quite worn. An example of this was when a childs coat was described as black but was dark navy. I sent it back and the seller paid my postage AND gave a full refund. I ONLY pay through paypal for this reason.

I don't buy bundles. They tend to hide less good things in with one or a couple of better items.

I will only pay whatever amount I deem to be an acceptable price, with postage included.

I do also look at the sellers feedback. If they have a lot of complaints, I won't buy. The few times I have forgotten to do this, I have regretted it.

Personally, I like a decent brand and one item not a bundle and it would have to be genuinely of the hardly been worn, worn once or immaculate condition variety.

I also like some effort to have been put into the listing (not minimal short and sweet) and several photos of the clothes looking clean, ironed and at their best. As if something isn’t in focus, looks crumpled up, the description is very short or incorrect i.e. photo of red top and description says it is blue would knock me off.

But I have bought Mini Boden clothes for playing out in with more wear (but as long as it is super cute unusual and noted).

I don’t generally by for myself unless it’s the same style of dress but different pattern as I just never know if things will fit.
I buy quite a lot for DS 2.
I generally look for specific brands that I like but don’t want to pay full price for, mini Boden, white company, joules etc.
I don’t shop in bundles cause he has never needed a full season of clothes so dont want to be looking for two jumpers but get an entire winter bundle which we don’t need or have space for. Also I would think I would never love every item that is in a bundle.

I wouldn’t be bothered by the odd mark depending on position and if it was mentioned. If I got a top saying great condition and there was a stain on the front that was not pictured or mentioned I would be arguing for a refund.

I like to see individual photos of each item, if it's a single item being sold or a small bundle, I would like multiple photos of back and front, close up of any zips or features, and also the cuffs so I can see how worn.

I prefer buying bundles to take advantage of postage. I sometimes buy bundles for playwear so I don't mind signs of wear, but I hate stains, and usually won't buy anything stained. I look for detailed descriptions and honesty - if someone says "photos don't do this justice" then I'd like that to be true.

I'm only precious about a few brands myself. I genuinely don't understand why Next bundles get such great resale prices but from studying over a few years if I was selling stuff from Next I'd make all-Next bundles as they seem to command a good price.

I look for a brand normally. I only buy bundles if they are many of one particular item , I recently bought a bundle of two next knitted jumpers for my son on eBay. I wouldn't buy a mass of different items in different brands , I did that once and had to throw away over half of the items as there were stains and poppers missing.

I like bundles of jumpers or trousers etc. Quite a few pics and describe if there are any flaws. I don't expect them to be new, but decent condition is good. And washed even though I wash them again when I get them!

I buy (and sell) a fair bit on eBay. I mainly buy certain brands such as Zara, converse & JoJo. Sometimes I bundles if I like the majority of the items, I just sell on or donate the items I'm less keen on. I'm not particularly bothered about new stuff, im generally keen to just cut down on waste and reuse. Having said that I don't tend to buy anything with marks or scuffs.

I like an accurate description on condition and at least 3 photos of the front/back/cuffs etc. I've recently bought a coat for DS which looked immaculate from the pictures but is actually frayed along the sides of the zip at the front, I'm really disappointed and feel like they definitely should've mentioned it in the listing. I do always look at reviews and message to check if they are from a smoke free home if it's not mentioned in the listing.

I buy and sell stuff on ebay...I always give really detailed descriptions...so any stain, pulled thread is photographed and described. I find people really prefer this kind of detail. I don't buy second hand stuff which doesn't have a proper written description.
