Saucepan recommendations?

I'm looking to buy a new set of pans and wondered if anyone could recommend the best brand or at least best place to look online? We'd really like a decent quality set (various sizes) that will last years. Ideally non-stick and not too heavy! We have a ceramic hob (not induction).
Thanks!

Ikea every time. I have a set of Medalj ones that are 25 years old and still look like new.
I believe the 365+ range replaced those.

I’m very pleased with Neverstick Eaziglide. I got them on line from John Lewis.

Thanks - will check those both out!

I got a full set of Stellar stainless steel pans off Amazon, they are great.

Oh yes I've seen good reviews of stellar ones... are they non-stick?

Procook

The stellar ones I have are stainless steel so no non stick coating, I didn't want that. If I do get something overcooked and its sticks, I soak it in the sink overnight with soapy water and it comes off no problem.

Definitely not aluminium as it has been linked to Altzheimers and breast cancer. I have had my saladmaster stainless steel pots for 30+years. Worthwhile spending a bit more for quality. Do ensure the handles don't heat up as Dil bought an expensive set that needs a potholder to lift them. Iron pots are healthy and avoid non stick.

I've had a set of Stellar pans for 25 years which have been great. I cook so they have been used daily and cleaned in both dishwasher and by hand, you would never know they were as old as they are. If anything sticks a bit of bicarbonate of soda with minimal water does the trick.

Useful tips- thanks all!

I have a Stellar set too. The stainless steel ones, though I believe they do a non-stick set too. They are amazing and will last you 30 years. If anything sticks I just soak in cold water and use a scouring pad and they come up as good as new.

I've come to the conclusion stainless steel is better than nonstick for most purposes. Steel should last a lifetime and can be cleaned thoroughly. Nonstick doesn't.
We recently got some from pro cook which seem good, plus some generic lids (masterclass, iirc) for the frying pans. We've had problems in the past with lids with handles fixed by some sort of little studs rather than proper screws.

Lakeland have nice ones. I bought a new set this year.
