Hilarious that people are pretending not to understand the phrase! We'll I'm an adult but I still think that muttering something inappropriate under your breath is the only thing that makes wearing a mask in shops fun.

DelphineWalsh · 15/11/2020 13:09

No but wearing a mask I can sing/mouth the words to music or mumble to myself in public without people thinking I'm bonkers.

midnightstar66 · 15/11/2020 13:09

I have honestly never heard the phrase pull your tongue out and I've lived all over the Uk and abroad, I did figure she must mean stick your tongue out but it doesn't really make much sense! But no I don't do I that they sit pretty close to your face and I don't fancy making them any more wet and germy than they are already getting from your breath. I a lot for little things and realise that that is probably going totally unappreciated.

It probably looks even more bonkers to be fair - before it would be obvious you were singing along but not it will just look like you have an odd twitch/making strange faces 😆

Milfhunter0 · 15/11/2020 13:13

@midnightstar66 I was thinking exactly the same thing about pull your tongue out Grin

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 15/11/2020 13:17

@Callcat

I don't, but I do mouth swear words at people's dick behaviour and also mouth sing songs 😆
Yep. It’s a good thing no one can read minds.

That was meant to say I SMILE a lot - now my post doesn't make any sense Blush

FlatScreenTV01 · 15/11/2020 14:40

I will have to try the swearing too! 😂

@Spied

No but for some reason when I have my mask on I subconsciously open my mouth very wide and keep it open, almost like I'm at the dentist. It's strange.
I'm like that, it must be because subconsciously you think you can't breathe. Although I open and shut mine like a bloody goldfish.
yetanothernamitynamechange · 15/11/2020 14:44

yes, a few times. You do have to be careful not to frown at people though - I can still see when someones frowning even with the mask on and its easiest to forget that. Also, as someone else said, I do a muc more exagerated smile now so people can see Im smiling even with a mask. The problem with that is you get in the habit of it and end up smiling like a maniac even when not wearing a mask. Which makes me look like a crazy person :(

I do this too. I think it's to try and stop it riding up over my eyes.
misscockerspaniel · 15/11/2020 14:50

Op, have you looked in a mirror to see what it looks like? I reckon you could get away with it whilst wearing a good quality fabric mask but I wouldn't risk doing it whilst wearing a paper mask.

Stradivari · 15/11/2020 14:59

Yawning is so freeing too!

Joswis · 15/11/2020 15:00

Yes. I bare my teeth too. Love it!

S111n20 · 15/11/2020 23:01

No I don’t but I’m going to next time someone annoying me in morrisons 😂😂

Pipandmum · 15/11/2020 23:49

No. I'm not going out much so have no reason to be doing anything so childish.

ramblingsonthego · 15/11/2020 23:52

No, but I do mouth fuck off on a regular basis while wearing a mask.

BoogieFeet · 15/11/2020 23:58

No but I think I’m muttering and talking to myself more than usual when out - need to get out of that habit if/when we can throw the masks away!

MuthaFunka61 · 16/11/2020 00:06

Some great ideas on here.
I'll think of you all whilst I carry out various satisfying (and childish) actions. It'll make me laugh anyhow and I need more reasons to laugh right now.
