Recommend me a white cotbed with built in safety rail

Hi all,

I'm looking for a cotbed for my little girl's nursery and struggling to find many options (I think perhaps I'm not using the right words in my Google search). She'll be 6 months in January and I'm intending to use it from then as she sleeps (reasonably....!) well at night.

I'd like a white (or mostly white) cotbed, where the cot height adjusts depending on her size, that has built in safety rails to stop her from falling out when we convert it into the bed. I'd like it to last her as long as possible. And bonus points for a storage drawer underneath!

Can any of you lovely people help me? Thanks in advance Smile

Thanks guys! Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get notified that I'd had any responses Hmm

VainAbigail - that's the one I'd found online and think it's what we'll go for. I'm nervous about using a seperate bedguard in case she manages to wiggle it out from under the mattress!

The only problem I had with a cot bed is as they get more mobile they get their legs trapped in the bars, it was awful when it happened as trying to prise the bars apart to release a leg was sometimes a longer process than I wanted (screaming toddler). It only happened with dc2, dc1 didn’t put her legs through the bars. I used a Velcro safety attachment in the end which worked a treat, I know you didn’t ask this but it’s a more common occurrence than talked about and it’s stressful if you’re not prepared (I never dreamt dc2 would stand up and stick her leg in the bars once never mind many times)

Yeh don't use a separate bed guard until minimum 18 months. The entrapment risk is high in children younger than that. Although I'm guessing you don't want to turn it into a cot bed for a while yet.

These might work..
