Help me decide what I should study

I'm in a position where I'm not working and not going to be working for the next year at least (not in the UK) so I've been thinking I should try and study for a postgraduate qualification or something completely different whilst I have the time. I don't want to do a full masters degree as I have no desire to write a dissertation but PGCert / PGDip would be ok or some other qualification. I have an undergraduate degree in management and my previous work has been in Higher Education. It'll need to be a completely online degree. What should I study? Are there any good courses anyone could recommend?

Some graduate law degrees are online. Quite a few universities offer that now, including the University of Law

They are longer than a year and expensive though.

Honestly? Don't study. Your heart doesn't sound in it. You will end up hating it. Find a different way to make your time productive. Volunteer maybe (there are online roles).

If you have absolutely no idea what you want to spend a year studying, I would pass until you do, as anything chosen at random isn’t going to work.

I was a trailing spouse, not sure if that is your situation, and with hindsight should have tried some craft skills/ hobbies.
Instead I believed I couldn't sew/ paint / draw / sing so there was no point doing them. Now I'm retired I can probably do all those things reasonably and v good at one of them - kick myself for not starting 20 years ago.
You get a lot of pleasure from being good at something - is there anything you're interested in?

A language course I suggest, perhaps for a country you visit in non-Covid times. The Insitiute Francais offer them in French for example.
