level, usually

DramaAlpaca · 07/11/2020 22:57

Level. If it was heaped the recipe would say so.

Disclaimer: never made cake in a mug.

A proper measuring spoon - level. A dessert spoon heaped

It means get some measuring spoons 😂

AdoraBell · 07/11/2020 23:23

Level, unless it says heaped.

EdithWeston · 07/11/2020 23:25

I would use rounded, unless level or heaped was specified.

Laurendelight · 07/11/2020 23:27

It means level. But I’ve noticed Mary Berry and James Martin both heap their tsp of spices etc.

JaJaDingDong · 07/11/2020 23:36

I would also say rounded, but not heaped

Majority think level so I'll go with that. Thanks
