Anyone from Germany on here?

Silly question but I’m trying to find the name of some sweets that are available in Germany.

Think sharing size bag, cherry flavour, hard boiled, possibly individually wrapped.

My son loved them when on exchange there. Few months later, German friend of a friend bought him some.

He is last year college so due big trips but all cancelled, including Xmas markets ( understandably)

I’m making (adult but at home) kids some Advent calendars with little bags and his is German themed with German numbers.

Really silly but I was going to try to find these sweets. May not be able to get them in uk anyway but just wondered if anyone knew name so I could search.

Storck Campino?

The advent calendars are a super idea, something to brighten up the day!

I'll ask around.
Where was he in Germany - as that might be relevant.

Campinos are usually mixed?

Here is a selection of German boiled sweets - a lot of these are cough sweets as dm is a drugstore chain but Germans love a „Kräuterbonbon“ (herb sweet), so maybe it was one of those?

Do any of these brands ring a bell or do you remember anything about the packaging?

Another German boiled sweet I can think of is nimm2, or there are Hirsch rote Kirschen which are cherry flavoured little lollies.

If you are looking for the traditional kind of sweets that would be sold on Christmas markets have a look here: ehren.de/frucht-bonbons/?p=2

As stocking fillers I would especially recommend Glühwein flavour, they are delicious!

My ( almost) DIL from Hanover says Hals BonBons made by Bronchibon.

Almost every region has their own Kirschbonbon variety. From my area are different to those from DH area.
Does one of those look familiar?

Hi everyone. Thanks for the replies and links (sorry I posted and went out). He stayed at Reklinghausen (and loved it)

Not campinos and I don't think hals.

Loving all the links to German sweets but don't understand German to know if I can order (I'm rubbish at languages)

Perhaps I'll find UK cherry drops and mini Ritter chocolates as the German sweets. (The Ritter shop/museum was part of our planned Berlin trip that didn't happen)

Thanks all
