I dont know what I was expecting but I thought this would be the hoover of all hoovers (considering the price!)

And anti hair wrap my arse I've had it a month and I've already had it apart cutting the hair out.

Which one do you have I borrowed a friends once, the hand held. And it wasn't great. My vax is way better.

StealthPolarBear · 30/10/2020 19:34

Yes not keen. We had a miele before and I'd go back to that.
UUallt when you get a new vacuum cleaner it's impressive the firys few times you use it. The shark has been mediocre from day one.
However I never used to vacuum while singing BAAAABY miele do do De do De do

Love mine. I've had it for over a year and never had hair on the roller, and we have lots of hair and pets!

I like mine but it’s not the best thing ever, which I was hoping for for the price. I like how it folds away and is light going up the stairs and easy to handle. But it’s suction isn’t the massively impressive.

Jakobabear · 30/10/2020 20:28

Yes. Much prefer my Hetty and she was less than half the price.

Paranoidmarvin · 30/10/2020 20:29

Cleaner here .... it depends on which one u have. I have the animal orange and blue one for work and it is really good. I have the cheap one for home and would never buy the cheap on again

m0therofdragons · 30/10/2020 20:32

I’ve come across a few people who either love them or are gutted they spent so much. Nothing in between. We have 4 people with long hair and a dog and I’m so glad I went for the Gtech. It cleans well without me feeling I spent vast amounts on it. I do take the roller out once a month to cut hair off but it’s designed to do that so isn’t like the old dyson that you needed an engineering degree to pull apart.

Toottoot20202 · 30/10/2020 20:33

I found it pretty disappointing. Spinning brushes are good for dislodging deepset crud in carpets but found it out wanting as a day to day machine.

Have gone back to good old Henry after having my eye turned by one of these flashy machines.

chickenyhead · 30/10/2020 20:33

I hate mine, suction is crap although I like the lights and its maneuverability.

Its a shame as it could have been amazing. It isnt. Bought hetty instead.

goose1964 · 30/10/2020 20:37

I love mine the only problem is that it doesn't like bits of paper. It's much easier to use than our old Dyson and it picks up stuff much faster. I found the bit where you remove the hair totally by accident. However it hates cobwebs and my husband blocked it.

Iwant2move · 30/10/2020 20:40

Yes. I bought the largest capacity, lift away, corded vacuum. I have replaced it with the latest Miele bagless cat and dog.
The Shark constantly lost suction to the point that it didn’t work. I was constantly taking it apart and cleaning it and washing filters.
A complete and utter waste of money just like Dyson.

mayaknew · 30/10/2020 22:06

No idea what one it is tbh Blush its a stick one with the anti hair wrap. Its an orange colour. Massively overpriced.

All I can say is it beats our previous Dyson into a cocked hat. Can't compare with other brands.
