Inspired by the other thread Grin
All those in favour of 'cosy hot chocolate snuggles on a duvet day' say aye

Surely this was all done to death in multiple threads over the summer...?

You know, when it wasn't dark, dreary and damp... 😂

MegaClutterSlut · 26/10/2020 16:46

Much prefer Autumn/winter. Can't stand summer, have always hated it. Its the worse season imo

LookatMeLookatMeLookatMuiii · 26/10/2020 17:00

The summer heat makes me feel ill and everything is so so much harder. No matter what I try, I look terrible in summer clothes. The uncomfortable nights and lack of sleep...suncream and children, exhausted panting dogs...midges and wasps...just horrible.

And then, come Autumn, it's like I'm waking up, I feel energetic again, lively, love choosing what proper clothes to wear and love the feeling of getting inside after a refreshing blustery walk / run/ field dog walk. There is nothing like it. I love every season in England and can appreciate summer for its beauty and long evenings, but maybe a fortnight of it would be just enough Smile

Wasps!! Evil creatures of the summer season!

SionnachRua · 26/10/2020 17:20

Oh yes! Autumn/winter is the best time of year. Beautiful colours, the best fashion, Halloween...all amazing.
Can't stand fucking summer or worst of all...the beach Shock Grin

SurreyHillsGirl · 26/10/2020 17:58

I like beaches and the sun.

But I LOVE autumn and winter, cold, bright days are when I'm at my happiest but I love rainy days too. DH and I have been looking forward to the dark evenings and cooler evenings that have finally arrived so we could light the fire, it's been a bit mild but we've lit it anyway (and nearly melted) Grin

Hoppinggreen · 26/10/2020 18:02

I like the sun but anything above 25 degrees is too much for me and while I like the sea and water generally I hate beaches. Swimming in the sea off a boat is lovely

ProperVexed · 26/10/2020 18:16

I love walking in the rain. When it is pouring down I put on my wellies, grab a Labrador or two and stride out! Bloody bliss....and made even nicer by the fact that I'm alone, no other fecker is as mad as me!

Holothane · 26/10/2020 18:21

Count me in for snuggles with oodie and cozy days.

Nandocushion · 26/10/2020 18:26

I moved several years ago to a VERY sunny and dry place - cold winters, but just far too much sun and so little rain, everything is brown. I am sick to death of forecasters and every single other person telling me that it's going to be a "beautiful" or "fantastic" day just because it's going to be more goddamn sun and blinding glare and skin cancer risk all day long. The best day for me would be dense fog, snow or rain.

Rockbird · 26/10/2020 18:33

Hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate weather over about 15°, beaches, sand, sun cream, sun, bright light and that horrible summer smell.

I love love love love love wind, freezing cold, dark mornings and evenings, blankets, cosiness, big mugs of tea (hot choc makes me feel sick!), fairy lights and snuggling. I even love rain.
