Just publicly cried at work after a colleague was a compete twat at me (on nights). Now my face is swollen and I want to go home but stuck here until 7.30 💩.
Would it be acceptable to tell him he is cockwomble?! Cheer me up with your tales of woe before I end up stalking out of here at 4am and leave him with all of my jobs

Worst shift ever was when I found my favourite a patient dead.

2nd worst - we had an agency nurse my manager had hired on a 3 month contract. He had a history of speaking to support staff, especially me, like shit. One day he wound me up so much I stormed out of the office and locked myself in the staff room until I could stop crying. I eventually quit my job because of that bastard.

The nature of my work means I can't but trust me, you wouldn't want to have experienced it. I hope your next day at work is much better.

I was made to cry by a colleague/boss once and it was so unlike me, looking bad I don't know why she got to me like that. The whole workplace was messed up, there were several incredibly sexist men. One told me if I had any ideas for senior staff to hear, I should let one of my male colleagues know so that they could present them. He also had temper tantrums and threw box files across the room which narrowly missed me once.

On the other hand, in another job I passed out and vomited onto a senior colleague. DP was called to collect me and informed me later I had sick coming out of my nose, which must have been pleasant for everyone.

Looking back! Not looking bad.

I did promotional work, did a national campaign for a well known opticians - me 1 other and a large electrical set up in middle of big shopping centre. All v expensive bla bla.

A woman turned up to protest against said brand with about 10 other people.

It was chaos and we didnt actually work for the company in question we were paid help.

As a teacher there've been many! As an angry crier there have been many tears she'd. But MOST of them have been caused by wholly ineffective management rather than the actual kids (even though they are absolute dicks sometimes)

Though I got called a cunt once by a child....that was fun!

All the office, except 2 people, used to finish at lunch on a Friday. I was left with the the manager (who wasn't competent enough to answer the phones) so was stupidly busy.
A member of my team called from the pub pretending to be a really difficult, argumentative customer.
After 20mins on the phone I finding out who it was, I nearly walked out.

I got called a truly vile racist word starting with n. That was a primary school child some years ago.

Today. Through my own incompetence have made myself look stupid and disrespectful when I am neither. Feel rubbish.🙁

Had a weird experience where my line manager, who was meant to support me, asked why she would ever want to help me. Extraordinary time. I left.

In my first teaching post, in a decidedly difficult school, I was writing on the blackboard (a looong time ago!), when a 5th year sauntered up behind me and asked me out. I declined. When he got back to his seat, he sparked up a fag. To compound matters, I pulled down the projector screen too strongly, it then came loose and fell on my head. Pure comedy for that class!
