Best material for a white worktop

I currently have black granite worktops, I really want to change to white but we spill lots, think teabags dropped and sauce splashed from cooking.

The black is annoying in that it has to be dried after wiping down but shows no stains. If I change to white what would be the best material to get to not stain, or isn’t there one?

We inherited white worktops when we bought our house. I'm not sure what material it was but it was a nightmare. It never looked clean, showed every drop of tea/coffee/wine splashed on it, stained if we ever used things like turmeric, and I was so glad to get rid of it! We have grey oak laminate worktops now and they're massively easier to keep clean and look much better. Sorry if that's not what you want to hear!

I have white flecked laminate worktops with a lot of quartz in. I love them because by reflect quite a lot of light.

I'm no domestic goddess but they usually look clean. I don't make coffee rings and I use a large chopping board for food prep.

Generally a wipe over at night works fine, with a proper clean with a stone cleaner spray about once a month.

I have white laminate, it’s great, I love it. Very easy to keep clean.

I had marbled quartz at my old house. I loved it! If I could still afford it I'd have it again!!! Was easy to clean and looks great!

So if I want white I need to be less messy than I am then 😢. I clean up after myself but there’s always something split

Quartz

I have quartz. If you don’t wipe something like rust (wet tin cans) pollen or turmeric it does stain, but easily removed with a Bit of bleach or cif.

Tea stains just wipe up no problems

Ooh so it’s not a completely stupid idea then, will investigate quartz, thanks!
