Unlicenced Flu Jabs - 2020

Be aware that the UK has purchased millions of doses of the flu vaccine FluBlok from the USA. This is reported as being unlicenced for Europe. Could your elderly relatives, your children, you yourself be at risk. Bearing in mind the buffoon-lead Government's handling of the covid-19 pandemic frankly trust in anything from Government is low.

"Flu vaccines are available for over-65s, children up to the age of 11, pregnant women, and those with certain pre-existing conditions such as asthma."

"Ministers earlier this year announced emergency measures allowing the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency to give a vaccine temporary approval before receiving a European licence."

"They aim to vaccinate more than 30 million this winter against flu in the largest campaign ever undertaken."

It's approved by FDA

I cannot think of any reason not to rely on that approval, especially as it's a version which has been in general use in the US for years

We have had this kind of post before.
Unlicensed, in this context, is to do with marketing/sales/distribution channels.
For example, a large company such as Roche makes a product that it licenses to another company in X country to sell it there.
It has nothing to do with whether or not a product has been tested, approved and declared fit for purpose.

I don't trust daily mail journalism. The flu vaccine is available on the Nhs for ppl over 50 this year. So that bit is wrong too.
