Dull but essential - where to get bath towels?

ShirazSavedMySanity · 20/10/2020 21:51

We’re in need of new bath towels. Current ones are old; some from Dunelm, some from designers at Debenhams.

Can anyone recommend a mid range priced good quality towel.

We’d prefer bath sheets because they’re bigger. Absorbent essential (previous bad experience with beach towels 🤦🏼‍♀️) and not too much fluff when they’re new.

Thank you!

I bug my bath sheets from either Asda or Primark. They are all at least 5 years old and look good still. Kept their colour.

Weve had JLP for years but the quality has gone down. However I got some hand towels from Costco in March and they have been washed repeatedly and are still fluffy and soft.

I just bought these from Dunelm and they’re amazing! Towels

Really soft and thick, they wash well and don’t take ages to dry in the tumble dryer. I’ve always bought my towels from John Lewis but Dunelm have converted me with these!

I love these so called boring threads.

I recommend M&S for soft and fluffy.

IKEA very reasonably priced and good value but not very luxurious.

I also like a big bath sheet but then being a fatty I struggle with a just bath towelBlush

John Lewis - had some for years now and they are still thick and fluffy.

Have a look at Christy - I think they have a sale on. Or have a look on Brandalley as they've had some nice towels recently

IKEA - because they have a hook to hang them up with.

Next Egyptian cotton.
We have some that are ten years old and are only just starting to look a bit tired.

They are bath sheets, have been used almost every day, washed hundreds if not thousands of times and have held their softness and colour extremely well.

Following for the info!

My last lot were from Next and they're awful, pulled to bits where I've had the audacity to try and get dry while wearing a ring or my watch.

We have bamboo towels. They are amazing. Had them for approx 10 years and still going strong. They are lovely thick and absorbent and have antibacterial properties and better for the environment,

I got some from Tesco a while back - Fox and Ivy (I think). They’re thick and absorbent and I’m very impressed with them.

Christy are the ones I prefer. Just bought some from m&s and Christy and the Christy ones are definitely washing better.

Try the Christy outlet store.
