First pregnancy and early scan - super anxious

Hi everyone, got my first scan this Friday and I am literally bricking it. Didn’t know if was pregnant till about 11 days ago, I think I’m about 9 weeks along now but not too sure as my cycles are slightly irregular. Last week when going to the loo I had a tiny bit of brown discharge, nothing major and only when I wiped (sorry tmi). In between I’ve had clear/white discharge which can sometimes be a pale yellow colour - is this normal and has anyone experienced this before, I’m not sure as it’s my first pregnancy. My pregnancy symptoms have been pretty consistent - tender boobs, nausea and fatigue but I am so scared I’ll go into my scan on Friday and they’ll give me bad news or won’t be able to find a baby. I’m now worried I may have miscarried when I got the brown discharge, is that possible? I’ve read other threads on here that talk about going to a scan and not having a HB or experiencing mmc and I am now beyond terrified and full of dread. Any advice and reassurance would be greatly appreciated.

It’s very natural to be anxious and not believe it is true till you see it in a screen.

In my experience a little blood when you wipe is not enough for a miscarriage. When I miscarried at just eight weeks I bled lots and had contractions.

I also bled to some degree - much more than you describe - with two perfectly healthy pregnancies.

Hi @Shab94949, just ask, did you show on a pregnancy test early? Only asking because I’m day 54 of my cycle and still no period but BFN! I had blood when wiping last Monday but all the same symptoms as you! Xx
