Hi, just a quick one as I can’t work it out myself. It’s not much of an excuse but I’m pregnant with #3 and knackered but keep coming up with different conclusions.

I am in a tier one English city, Worcester as it happens, and dd1 is turning 10 tomorrow. On Saturday we have arranged for 2 of her friends to meet us for a meal (not their parents so it’s myself, dh, dd1, dd2, friend1 and friend2, making 6) at pizza express

They are then coming back to ours for a sleepover and movie/games and being picked up the day after.

My dad has raised the question of whether this is allowed as it is 3 different households meeting indoors, despite the fact we are staying within maximum 6 people at all times.

Not sure if it makes any difference but dd1 and her two friends have been on play dates to each other’s houses, all 3 of them, and sit by each other in class at school/in the playground.

Could anyone clarify whether we are legally allowed? Thanks so much!

I think it is in tier one. You are still in the same guidelines that you were before the tier system so the rule of six. In tier two you are are only allowed to see people who aren't in your household outside, still only six.

So it’s ok being two friends from different ones? Thanks 😊
