Slim 13 yo, what size in adult H and M? 6? 8?

I'd like to get her a dress for Xmas, from vampires wife collection, but not sure what adult size she would be? Slim 13 year old?

Order in a couple of sizes because H&M sizing is a bit hit and miss. Returns are free.

I'd go for a 6 if it's a loose style. Tricky though. DD is 5"2/3 and slim/athletic and mostly wears a 6, occasionally an 8 if she prefers a baggier look. She can always fit into a 6 I think though.

My dd is average height, slim, 13 and a half. I'd say 8 as their clothes are cut on the small side. My dd bought a denim mini from there, persuades her to get an 8 and was glad I had as it fit just right.

It's this Thursday, 22nd OCTOBER

My dd is 13 and very slim, age 13-14 is often a bit big on her but we've had size 4 and size 6 clothes that are often too small so I tend to go for an 8, unless it's a loose fitting or longer length thing or something with straps then I go for a 6. I always read reviews too to see how things size up.

Sorry it was me who said November! The Vogue article about Susie Cave still says that’s when it will be launched, although they’ve added a postscript about 22nd Oct in the online version. As you were.

H&M sizing used to be tiny and now it’s all over the place. I once bought a size 8 blouse (which was loose and flowy) and a size 16 skirt on the same day 🤷🏽‍♀️

Depends on the style. I bought 12 yr old DD a skirt which has press studs down the front. Size 6 gaped ever so slightly right where you would not want it gaping so we got size 8.
She's 5'1 and slim
