Heated throw for outside?

We've been struggling to get patio heaters for outside. Already have a couple but we're looking for extra for movie nights with the projector since cinemas are off limits for us. Kids love it but it's bloody freezing. Was wondering if heated throws would work instead? Any one use them outside in a freezing cold garden to keep warm instead of in a cosy living room as a wee top up to central heating?

All the ones I've seen need to be plugged in to the mains. I'd go for normal throws and hot water bottles instead.

I've got huge heated throw on my sofa for the winter. It's absolutely amazing and has changed my life 😂 It heats up remarkably fast, and I barely have the central heating on now! They are quite expensive, I think mine was around £60 from Amazon, but it's most definitely worth every penny. It can be disconnected to put in the washing machine, it can't be tumble dried though. It's most definitely worth the money, I'm considering getting another one for my son... We fight over it with just having one 😂

I would of thought high tog duvets and hot water bottles would be more practical.

Do you have power outside to plug them into? I’m guessing yes as otherwise they wouldn’t work?

Yes - power outside. Did thick crochet blankets and hot water bottles last time but not quite enough to keep the chill off. Was just wondering if they'd be powerful enough for outside use.

Mine has nine heat settings and would be powerful enough for outdoors. Much better than a normal blanket and hot water bottle.
