What job should I do?

I've come to the conclusion my current trajectory isn't what I want to do for the rest of my life. I've been at a big tech/ecommerce company for most of my career and despite changing roles a few times I find I get bored of office work quite quickly.

Skills:
Marketing
Writing
Planning
Apparently am a good communicator

Needs:
£40k+ (London)
9-5 Mon-Fri
Am interested in food, books, health

Any ideas would be welcome!

There are adverts out for teachers again. Dunno about £40k though.

What have you been doing so far? What are your interests?

You can do marketing, sales, digital PR, off the top of my head.

Noteworthy jobs in the last 10 years:

Content creator (ie copywriting)
SEO manager
Brand manager
Account manager (hated this one as its an extrovert's game)
Marketing/merchandising manager

Haven't really enjoyed any of these. I think office work is just very boring! I had a job in a deli as a student that I liked the day-to-day of, though the pay and hours weren't sustainable.

I'm particularly interested in cooking and have worked as a chef but again, pay and hours put me off which is why I've ended up doing boring office work. I like the idea of the jobs I've been doing but they always end up being a bit boring and meaningless. Maybe the problem is also with the type of organisation? My company is massive so often feels like my work doesn't matter to the business, or really benefit society

Are there any jobs where I can just cook during office hours and keep my current wage Hmm

It's a tough one. Your skills are quite suited to office-based jobs!

Have you thought of a move into something half-way, like digital marketing/content creation for a small/medium food or health startup? Still office, but maybe less boring.

Other wild ideas - private chef, housekeeper, personal trainer?
