Crawling babies footwear for the park?

I'm a bit stuck, my boy is crawling and walking in equal measure.
What do you put on their feet for the playground?
Seems as though the Clarkes Cruisers or similar are too soft to take the outdoor crawling, but proper shoes are too hard.
Thanks in advance

My park is relatively clean and I used to let dd crawl round it with no issues. I just put slipper socks on over her tights/ normal socks to protect her feet and for grip when standing and knee protectors made from her old leggings over her knees. She didn’t walk until 17 months and I wanted to let her have some freedom to roam and hoped it would encourage her to finally start walking which it did Smile

DS1 spent a winter crawling around playgrounds as it was 6 months from mastering crawling to actually wanting to walk independently at 16m. He could crawl, pull up, cruise and climb for over 4 months, so could get around things like the slides by himself.

Fleecy and waterproof onsies and cruiser shoes. He was 2 before he grew into walking shoes in Clarkes anyway because they started at a 4.

He also enjoyed crawling around church which the church were very easy going about. A nun once commented that he livened up a dull sermon the week that he mastered the reverse-crawl-down the steps.
There was one awkward moment when he crawled on the organ pedals and made it clang mid-prayer Blush Grin
