😂😂 I witnessed this a lot as a teenager OP, I’m assuming you mean around that sort of age! And as students too. Never happened to me, at 5ft8 and a solid size 12 I was never dainty enough to be picked up, but it happened to my petite friends regularly. I assumed the boys/men were just showing off how strong and manly they were

Perhaps it was just a kind of showing off? I don't know why it popped into my head that there might have been another motive last night?

Yep happened to me too. I was once picked up by a fireman and carried round over his shoulders in a fireman's lift in a nightclub. I think it's sort of exhibiting how manly they are!

If they wanted to show off, they should have picked someone taller!

I am very short. Was once slim (ha, not now). Had great advantages for being picked up/manoeuvred (consensually) for all sorts of sexual exploits. Was very handy. Alas now, old and fat - still short but not the same level of portability.

Never have been tiny or wanted to be. When it happened I just assumed it was a piss take. Then last night I thought well I thought everyone who asked me out was taking the piss, so maybe i was just an innocent with low self esteem.
