Are the executive holding a meeting tonight or what? Getting fed up being pissed around like this.

I wish they'd cancel it so dc could get on with learning more varied stuff but ds wants a go at it & would be gutted if they did cancel it. I'm so fed up of AQE. Our school is the only one in town that is back with a shorter day so P7 our at 1.30. They are in now at 8.30 but don't think it's good enough. Other schools are keeping P7s in longer to catch up

StillCounting123 · 15/10/2020 13:50

buck our P7s are 9:15am-2:30pm. Seems like all they do all week is do AQE prep exams and then go through marking them the next day. What they are learning apart from that appears to be very little. I agree with your dissatisfaction about it all.

DD is in P7, her school day is normal length and they do one practise paper a week.

Didn't some primary schools at the start of this say that they weren't going to get drawn into the transfer process?

Our DS getting papers home to do next week. Agree the reason our primary school are telling us very little about the AQE plans is because they simple dont know themselves.

I have set up a seperate thread for AQE chat. Called it AQE NI Jan 2021 in Primary Education.
