I know, i KNOW theres no point worrying, and im catastrophising or whatever the word is. Pelvic scan this morning due to heavy periods. Been ongoing for over 2 years. Wasn't worried at all. Keen to get some help at last. Some cycts on ovaries and thickened womb lining, was told this could be the cause if the bleeding. Nothing major "jumping out" at him (scanner? )Went to work.
Just sat down and thought I'd Google causes of thickened lining of uterus. Thinking endometriosis, maybe ill end up having a hysterectomy.....Womb cancer seems to be high on the list. Read on, other tests will be to have a chest x ray to see if it's spread to the lungs. I've been suffering with breathlessness recently. Kind of tight chested, getting very out of breath on really brisk walks.
I'm not fit, and I am anaemic, and have underactive thyroid which I know can both result in breathlessness. But obviously now I'm really quite terrified and have no one to talk to.
I'm single, and have 2 small sons. 5 days til I hear from the GP apparently.
I do suffer with anxiety.
