Just that really. I've never liked any dish I've done in a slow cooker yet but desperately want it to make my life easier!!

I put onions spice & meat with a little oil for first hour (stirring occasionally) than I add veg onion mush or whatever recipe Worcester or soya sauce (not tinned beans or tinned toms at this stage but a couple of fresh toms) stir occasionally if it looks dry than add "wet" contents like tom or a little water finally add tinned beans & lastly herbs
Minimum water is the trick -just enough to make it moist
Don't leave lids off temp goes down to slow& defeats object of using a slow cooker - you can however put the temp down

I do dumplings on top of my goulash for the last 30 minutes.

I use MacDougalls thickening granules rather than cornflour, gives a much better thickness to the sauce.

So it's in the slow cooker and I threw some white wine in aswell.

Thank you @Zeebeezee it smells amazing.

I used three packets of stewing steak but it will go in the freezer or my mum and dad will have some.
