Is there a simple baby tv show?

Without all the erratic behaviour?
My 10 month old loves a little bit of telly time in the daytime but all the shows I've found are erratic, fast paced and a bit too much for her to get a good look at.

She liked the early Pocoyo episodes - they were simple and slow paced (she likes to stare for a while to take things in) but the later ones are a bit much for her (too fast - loses interest quickly).

Any suggestions for anything slow paced and simple?

Thank you for reading.

DD is 5 and still likes Baby Club even though she was a bit old when it started. She's an odd one, she liked really old Mr Tumble and original Postman Pat. One of her 1st words was Pat.

Most of Cbeebies is nice, just don't introduce her to Twirlywoos. They are so naughty and DD used to copy them. They were banned several times to the extent she talk about when, why and how it was banned if she watches it.

If you go on kidstube there are gentle sensory programmes

I wouldn't actually encourage the TV watching tbh

Cocomelon, Little Baby Bum(I hate this!), The Wiggles and Mother Goose Club. All on Netflix or Youtube.

We only watch CBeebies stuff, mostly on iplayer. My LO is 21 months now, and we've gone through In the Night Garden, the Teletubbies, Hey Duggee, Postman Pat, Bob the Builder, Brum, Catie/Grace's Amazing Machines. Hey Duggee is my favourite.

Lostmyname · 14/10/2020 20:16

Tik tak - my one year old loves it and the music is not annoying!

Kimblebee19 · 14/10/2020 20:25

My now 21mo only started showing the slightest interest in the tv in the past few months, but now it is ONLY Peppa Pig that fits the bill. Wont have anything else, tried lots and its just "Peppa PIG! Peppa PIG!" Grin

He's more of a music lover and I think maybe it keeps him interested because of the little musical bits in the background.
Little Baby Bum on netflix was the first bit of interest, he loves when he recognises a song that i sing to him! The later episodes of that are a bit like Hmm stopped watching at some weird anti peer pressure rap Confused Grin Grin

(Ugh why do my emojis always go screwy on here?)

~ Grin, raised eyebrows, confused face, grin, grin

You get it :-D

Another vote for Tik Tak. There's no dialogue. Just lovely music and interesting images. It's difficult to describe but my nearly 2 year old who also loves Hey Duggee and Something Special really enjoys Tik Tak.

Iwanttobefreetobeme · 14/10/2020 20:37

My ten month old likes teletubbies (/will tolerate it) but her favourite is a YouTube channel called songs for littles. It is very basic, just a nice lady and some puppets. DD gets the biggest smile as soon as she hears her voice

MasksGlovesSoapScrubs · 14/10/2020 21:24

My 15 month old is Hey Duggee's number 1 fan! Grin
He absolutely loves the new Tik Tak sensory programme on CBeebies.
Tbh he only watches CBeebies. I refuse Peppa bastard pig Grin

00100001 · 14/10/2020 21:24

@cobpickles - so what?
There's absolutely no reason for a 10 month old to be watching TV. it's bad for them.

SilenceOfTheEmu · 14/10/2020 21:32

Show me show me on CBeebies (bbc Iplayer)

Blueemeraldagain · 14/10/2020 21:42

Baby bright is another quite calm one. Lots on YouTube.

Magicbabywaves · 15/10/2020 06:51

Tik Taks on CBeebies. It’s new and only last 5 mins, but it’s a bit like a Baby Einstein.

Always one on the thread.

PersicariaBistortaSuperba · 15/10/2020 06:59

@kimblebee19 oh my god the peer pressure rap, it's SO strange. I've no idea what my 3yo made of it.

bonjourbonjour · 15/10/2020 07:23

Baby tv on sky

Cattenberg · 15/10/2020 17:53

The Clangers (especially the Eggbot episode!).

DD (now two) hides behind the sofa when the big egg starts singing Grin

When DD was a baby she liked Teletubbies, but her favourite thing ever was the ending to Biggleton, where they all dance the Biggle-Wiggle and then the theme tune plays. We’d dance and sing along (well sort of).
