Am I legally entitled to a payslip showing what I was actually paid?

Payroll messed up my September pay. I was going to be massively overpaid but luckily I checked my on line payslip and alerted them so they could stop the payment and they then paid me the correct amount. I think....
They won't or can't issue a correct payslip so I can't check I was paid correctly. The amount looks OK but without a payslip I can't be sure. They have told me my October payslip will show corrections but haven't explained what that means.

Once you’ve submitted an RTI it’s virtually impossible to amend it.

It's actually quite simple by sending an additional FPS & selecting correction to an earlier submission as the reason.

If your payroll software can't do this then it needs upgrading.

I have the latest version of Moneysoft.

@Comefromaway ask for further training as Moneysoft should have that ability.

HMRC guidance is that you can use either but for a 21K in a month error I'd be wanting that sorted ASAP to minimise the possibility of any repercussions for the employee - & the employer as they'll have a P30 for period ending 5th October which is thousands of pounds more than what they are actually due & HMRC are crap at sorting stuff like that out.

I don’t think they do training. There is a user guide & you can email them.
