Example--next week I'm paying to get our oven cleaned by a company. Excited!

@MJMG2015 Cook is very much our friend - lovely stuff but a bit pricey for everyday. (Of course, a live-in chef would be much cheaper Grin.)

@notapigeon

Honestly - a gardener.

Our garden is a constant fight so it's nice-ish for DS to play in. I would adore a lovely garden - I hate ours with a burning passion.

Neither me nor DH are green fingered, and it takes weeks of nagging for him to cut the grass (he does the grass, I butcher the hedges).

I hate it so badly. I've already demanded the next house has fake grass/is an upstairs flat 😂

Ask on local FB pages. We have a nice local boy who cuts the grass and strips the edges for £20 a time. He does it all season.

Yes, it's definitely not a cheap option, but sometimes cash is less of a problem
than time! (Or frankly, inclination!!)

If they did vegetarian low carb options I'd still be spending far too much there!!

I wouldn't want a live in chef. So I'd need a chef annex as well!!! Might as well build an entire staff complex !!

I think 'dial a handyman' that's both trustworthy & competent.

I can put my mind to most things, if I have to, but I've not been very well and gave fucked knees now so physically things are getting difficult to do, plus I don't have a lot if the tools I need to do the small jobs and would rather just pay someone to do them well.

I've tried a couple of local 'handymen' and neither did the jobs as well as I'd have liked.

No friend can recommend anyone.
