Very specific request from my son but googling is useless as I just get coats for dogs!

Hatley have lots of coats with animals. so does Joules.

spiderlight · 07/10/2020 11:22

There's this delight on eBay, or this one which is much nicer.

madasamarchhare · 07/10/2020 11:25

I’d second Joules, they do lots of things in a dog print. Try their own website or places like John Lewis also stock it.

ooohbananas · 07/10/2020 11:25

Try Boden @rewild they usually have dogs or dog prints.

Boden have a Borg lined cord coat with a sausage dog on , I’ve had it for a few years and it’s lasted well but the buttons fall off quite easily

rewild · 07/10/2020 12:11

Thank you all

@spiderlight he would love that first one! Luckily it's the wrong size

rewild · 07/10/2020 13:07

No luck with Boden or Joules 😕 maybe dogs were last years trend!

OP, why don't you buy a neutral coat and find a lovely dog applique on Etsy/DIY shop and sew it on the coat?

My mum used to do this for me when I was a child and wanted a certain print on clothing. It was before the internet and a budget friendly way to realize my dream.

rewild · 07/10/2020 13:22

Lovely idea @LaBellina I'll have a look

Frugi or hatley might have something @rewild

Painsnail · 07/10/2020 13:29

Minoti do coats with nice animal patterns. They seem to always be in stock in tkmaxx

munchmunchly · 07/10/2020 14:05

How old is your son op ?

This lovely dog one at Jojo is only up to 18-24 months

munchmunchly · 07/10/2020 14:07

I would of thought White stuff as they often do dog prints, but not much kids on their website.

ArtichokeAardvark · 07/10/2020 14:08

Hatley - my son has a coat with labradors on from there. If there's nothing on their website, try their Amazon page as they often sell off their discontinued lines there.

rewild · 07/10/2020 14:41

aw that would have been perfect @munchmunchly! But he's 5 😕

Here's a Hatley labrador one from the US in age 5.

Age 5-6 Minoti raincoat (eBay but brand new)

munchmunchly · 07/10/2020 21:43

How about this, although shipping from US does ship worldwide and not too pricey at about £34, I can't see cost of shipping. Has the sizes 5T and 6T

I'm on a roll .. paw patrol I personally don't like character branded stuff. It does say it runs small and only up to age 6. £17.99 so could get it out of his system ?

You were all so helpful, thank you! & a special shoutout to @spiderlight - DS loves his doggy coat! He's been crawling around the floor in it pretending to be a dog Smile

Aww, that's made my day - thank you! So glad he likes it. (I have an enormous grumpy teenager now who only wants boring black/anime clothes, so the chance to go online shopping for gorgeous little cute things was lovely :) )

spiderlight · 13/10/2020 10:42

@rewild - would he like a tasteful and attractive hoodie to go under it...? ;)
