Help me feel better Blush
I'm pregnant and just burst into sobs because DS found an old toy he used to love in a draw and it made me think of toy story 2 when Jessie gets abandoned
I think I scared DS and DH was like Hmm
I Still keep tearing up thinking of poor Jessie

I cried when my parents took no notice/forgot/didn't care I was pregnant (to their first and only grandchild).

AllTheUserNamesAreTaken · 03/10/2020 21:23

When I was at home and found a hair in my bowl of strawberries and cream. It was my own hair

SaveloyDip · 03/10/2020 21:25

The Simpson (the one where Maggie said Daddy at the end), the fact my DH had hands, the fact I was happy, the fact I was sad, DH wouldn't make a sail boat out of dairylea triangles, olives and chipsticks...and then the fact he did make sailboats out of dairylea triangles, olives and chipsticks.

I hated being pregnant.

DD2 put her face between the cot bars for a kiss when she woke up from her nap and I absolutely sobbed my heart out because I felt like I'd imprisoned her.

RoseDog · 03/10/2020 21:27

I cried when I realised I put my pants on inside out, it was near the end of pregnancy, everything was an effort and when I realised my pants were inside out I sobbed uncontrollably Blush

LittleMissLockdown · 03/10/2020 21:29

I once sobbed hysterically because I dropped food on the floor when serving dinner. It honestly took me about 2 hours to calm down and then I sobbed again when I realised the rest of our dinner was cold. Blush

ramblingsonthego · 03/10/2020 21:32

I cried at the Eddie the Eagle film Blush

I can't sing any song. Literally any song- the lyrics make me cry. I cried at 'Get back up again' from the Trolls movie. 🙄

While I was pregnant I couldn’t find my husband in Covent Garden!! I was meant to meet him at a shop but it had closed down so the two of us kept wandering round missing each other. Eventually met up and I just burst into tears!!

ParadiseLaundry · 03/10/2020 21:37

I cried my eyes out watching that well known weepy Shaun of the Dead. 'Those zombies were real people though! They had families and lives 😭' Grin

If it makes you feel any better op I always think about toys in the Toy Story sense. When DS was nearly 2 DH bought him this old and slightly broken Hippo Bus from an old Disney cartoon from a charity shop. He absolutely loved it and and it was always one if his favourite toys even now he's nearly 5. I always think how Hippo Bus must have thought she was headed for the landfill, a broken toy in a charity shop, and how happy she must have been to be bought and played with all the time. And when DS2 came along and also loves playing with her so she's safe for a good few more years 😭 😊.

I should say most of these thought were had when I wasn't pregnant too 😂

EyeDrops · 03/10/2020 21:42

I thought Costa had no croissants. I dropped my ipad. I couldn't get my jeans off one leg. My DH was nice to me. DH asked me what I fancied for dinner.

Those were all with DD1, and there were many more... DD2 I don't remember crying at all more than usual!

My pen died at work, my boss must have thought i'd lost it😳

Justajot · 03/10/2020 22:10

I cried at anything in my first pregnancy. I'd have tears rolling down my cheeks, whilst trying to explain that I wasn't upset or sad. It was completely uncontrollable. Weirdly not a problem in my second pregnancy.

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 03/10/2020 22:14

I was 8 months pregnant when Lady Sybil died in Downton Abbey

I was a mess 😂

MissSmith80 · 03/10/2020 22:25

An episode of Eastenders was ending - I hate Eastenders 🙄

Topseyt · 03/10/2020 22:27

I cried when DH painted the garden shed pink!! Yes, pink!! I was furious. He later painted it blue, which I felt resigned to.

To add insult to injury, my ginger cat had brushed against the shed while it was pink and before the paint had dried. So I had a ginger cat with a huge pink patch down his side. So of course I wept about that too.

KenDodd · 03/10/2020 22:33

I cried in Waitrose because they didn't have any asparagus. The assistant then went round the back to try to find me some. She came back with some asparagus but it was too expensive, I didn't want it any more but felt I had to buy it. I then cried in the car going home because I'd spent too much money on asparagus.

blueshoes · 03/10/2020 22:39

Of Mice and Men - I broke down when the dog was shot and could not go on.
