Just looked in my diary into which I had put 'book santa' but then realised - there isn't going to be any santa to visit this year, is there?

I like a visit to Santa, me. The kids like it too Grin

We've booked the local Dobbies. We've been there twice before and they do a really lovely grotto with decent presents. Just hoping it goes ahead - there's always plenty of room so fingers crossed it'll be ok.

We've booked the Santa train. Actually two different Santa trains Grin. We booked the second which is totally secluded in own compartment for each family where Santa has already left a present and he waves at you from the platform at one of the stations. Thought this was less likely to be cancelled than the first where it's all in one carriage and he comes down the aisle to chat (presumably masked up!!!) We'll see what happens......

DD said yesterday that the elf on the shelf won’t be visiting us this year because he can’t risk taking covid back to Santa and ruining xmas. I’d b quite pleased with this idea if all her friends didn’t rubble it with their stories of the elf coming

He's self isolating before the big day, obviously. Doesn't want to risk not being allowed to travel on Christmas Eve
