Advice please - what's best for a new Parkray Aspect 5 woodburner. Very confused about the difference in logs - kiln dried as opposed to seasoned hardwood!

Just buy wood with less than 20% moisture content.

Both of those types typically are less than 20%. Kiln dried wood is usually soft wood and burns faster, but is cheaper, hardwood burns longer but is more expensive. Overall it probably comes out much the same in terms of price.

We buy our seasoned wood from the local coppicer which is both cheap and long burning. Oh and eco etc.

Thank you. It's a bit clearer now.

Seasoned hardwood. We always bought Almond, Walnut or Cherry (we lived near some orchards) It was delivered unseasoned as it was cheaper, then we stacked it and left it for at least a year. Burned long and hot.
