Feeding builders...

They've been working their arses off and I'd like to do them lunch on Friday - never really had builders around for this long before so not sure what would go down well..

Anyone done something similar and got any suggestions??

I will ask them but wanted to maybe give them a couple of choices rather than just an open offer!!

Bacon or sausage rolls usually go down well

Only done it once, and the main builder was a family member, so possibly a bit different, but I got pizzas from Pizza Hut, from their £5 for a medium offer! Mind you, they were replacing the kitchen, so I couldn't have "made" anything, anyway... Something easy to eat which doesn't require them to use more than a fork or spoon.

Yes, bacon and sausage sandwiches are always a hit. And a packet of biscuits/Kitkats or similar to go with the cups of tea!

I normally make sandwiches tea and give them a packet of cakes.

Do they stop for lunch or is it on the go, if they stop Fish & Chip Friday, on the go sandwiches and cake. My DH is a site manager and any homeowner who bakes cake is always popular.

Do they finish Friday?

If not I’d just make bacon sandwiches or something, don’t be doing something sit down and weird. Just something you can give them and leave them to it.

When ours finished we gave them a crate of beer each.

My husband loves a bacon sandwich and a mug of strong tea . That is really kind of you 😊

Awesome thanks all - will do bacon / sausage baguettes and a carrot cake then. Good points about not needing cutlery etc. so glad I asked!

Just make sure no veggies op, or any allergies.
