I've invited 4 people around for lunch : what would you prefer to eat?

Homemade soup, cheese, baguette, pâte, or

Homemade chicken casserole (with veg in the gravy) and roast potatoes

Friend is bringing a cake so I have no control over that Grin

Will serve wine with the meal and coffees /tea afterwards

Hmm, so now I'm thinking casserole is too heavy. It's supposed to be a cool day but sunny too and fine. Might be too wintry for autumn

🤔

Soup and the baguette

Bluntness100 · 18/09/2020 17:34

Who are these people and why are you inviting them?

Soup ans a baguette is an every day lunch. Many people have it during the working day, Is it a working lunch?

Chicken casserole and roast potatoes is more a Wintery thing and quite heavy and a very different meal to a quick soup and baguette.

So who are they and why are they being invited?

Casserole but I don’t eat cheese or pate and lentils set my IBS off so I’d just be eating the baguette with the other option (or the soup if you didn’t say there were lentils in it and then you wouldn’t see me for the rest of the afternoon as I’d be in the bathroom Blush)
