Is it worth trying to sell an expensive suit?

I have a very good quality suit that I only wore for job interviews that I'll never fit into again. A few years ago I made enquiries with a couple of "dress agencies" (i.e posh second hand shops) and they said that suits just weren't selling as it wasn't the sort of thing their customers bought.

I had it listed on Ebay for a while but it didn't sell, and anyway I felt a bit nervous about it as I usually only sell cheaper items.

Apparently suits came back into fashion last year, but at the same time a lot of job interviews at the moment are happening online so I just don't know if there's any market for it.

Is there anywhere I might have some luck or are people just not going to be buying suits any more?

I love suits and always buy second hand. Id get it on ebay but more realsitic a price. And I still want to know details in case I want it Wink

I used to always wear suits. Now I never do. None of the women I work with wear suits either, only the men.

Sorry but I wouldn't class £300 as designer, just high street. For me £90 for a second hand suit would not be good value.

I would either sell it for whatever you can get & be happy it's our your wardrobe or donate it to Smart Works or similar

But what about for interviews? Someone commented above that she did some interviews yesterday and everyone was wearing suit. But even I've noticed over the last couple of years that many people wear a "tailored jacket with a nice dress" to interviews now. Maybe it varies between industries? So many mixed messages.
