I loved the apostrophe thread.

Can we all pitch in some grammar rules that are often forgotten?!

I struggle with whose and who’s etc...educate me?

On the a / an question it's about the first sound in the word that comes after. If it's a vowel sound use 'an' and if not use 'a'. It's 'h' words that seem to give people the most trouble.

So it's:

An apple
A banana
A hotel
An hour (as the first sound is ow)
