I’m really struggling to think of ideas!

What would you ask for?

Mine is on Monday.
I've sent DH links to:
Aveda shampoo
A Tatty Devine necklace
A couple of prints from Etsy
A cookbook

Everybody gave me money for mine and I bought an airwrap, which I adore.

I asked for new wellies with a fun pattern and matching Mac so that if lockdown hits again over winter - I’m ready!

Op, DP has already nicknamed it Mrs Moochops!
Love the sound of the soft chocolate toffee!

Yes! A thread on here about adults actually wanting birthday presents. I didn’t think such people existed on this site! Top of my list would have to be a new Mulberry bag.

tararabumdeay · 15/09/2020 21:51

A heated throw? My bday present is burgundy and sheepy (costs about a p an hour to run). So, if compared to a hottie, a kettle costs about 2p an hour and only lasts 3 hours. A heated throw is a bargain. Haven't had an occasion to use it yet but there will be times. Heating on before November is wussy.

Rechargeable keyring torch - can never have enough torches. Let there be light; winter is coming.

I'd love an original painting of some seside place that means something but haven't found one I can afford.

Someaddedsugar · 15/09/2020 21:53

How about a subscription for something you love - makes a nice monthly surprise

longtompot · 15/09/2020 22:23

I have a list in my notes app on my phone called wanties with a small list of things I'd like to have.
I recently added some sheepskin slippers which I saw on Instagram. I really like these slippers

I have Turkish towels on there, a label maker, the body butter bars from Edinburgh natural skin company, a hanging plant basket from Joules, a yellow teapot.

BikeRunSki · 15/09/2020 23:05

I have a list too, but mine is on my fridge, where people who might buy me presents might see it!

I should do that. It's just on my phone as when I see something I think I'd like, not necessarily as a present, I add it to it.

It’s my birthday today and I got a piece of art, a beautiful water bottle with crystals inside, lots of books and a fantastic subscription box by penguin books - you get one a month with a book, stationary, an essay and a few other things. A very marvellous friend got me a years worth.

awsomer · 16/09/2020 06:42

Happy birthday @PastaAndPizzaPlease
