I gave up ironing years ago, Just fold or hang up.
His new shirts are so crinkly, either line dried or in the tumble dryer.
No other option but to iron them.

@BlackInk

We just dry them on hangers either outside on the line or inside on an airer, then hang them on the back of DS' door ready to wear. They're not perfect, but fine under a blazer. The only thing I ever iron is Hama beads :) When my DD was tiny she had a check up with the health visitor, and they got out a toy ironing board for her to play with. DD thought it was a surf board...
Love the surf board quote Grin I used BlackInk's method of drying ready to wear method too.

Yep after 3 years of John Lewis shirts the school have changed suppliers and my youngest who has just started has the new ones. Supposed to still be non iron but they are awful. They have to be washed daily and even hanging outside straight away they are terribly creased. I do not want to be dragging the ironing board out every day.

I hang ds’ up on coat hangers and dry on a rack thing from Lakeland. No ironing. If you dry on a washing line yiu can get clips to hang on the line then coat hangers On them

My son is dyspraxic as well and also in huge shirts - because of scouts he had to learn to 'iron'.
Not to my mothers standards, but good enough...for school shirts we mainly just do the fronts with some of the sleeve if its going well :) (John Lewis school shirts go quite big and teh M&S Extra long -if you can get them and they are still less creasing than normal )
We had to pick our moments of training and it took a number of attempts/repitition..

do it when there is no rush .....I did one, he did one, repeat a few times and also hanging on hangers and putting in wardrobe straight away if like my DS you have to keep repeating and consistent.

we do them all on Sunday etc for the week so no last minute panics....
