What foods travel well in hot food flasks?

For school packed lunches? The only things I've tried that work well so far are soups, cottage pie and pasta. Nuggets/fish fingers are made soggy with the steam. Can anyone who has tried and tested food flask meals please put them on this thread?! Thank you!

Chickpea tagine - it keeps well in the fridge for a few days (the flavours actually improve) and I take along a flatbread or pitta to eat with it.
Tuscan bean stew (with a ciabatta roll taken separately)
Fried rice
Risotto
Ramen noodles
Chilli

Oh brilliant thanks very much rice both kids like chickpeas, too, and I hadn't thought of that. Risotto is something they'll both eat too, thanks x

Yes I use this one www.diabetes.org.uk/guide-to-diabetes/recipes/vegetable-and-chickpea-tagine

If they like chickpeas, they might like this curry www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/tomato-chickpea-curry and you could give them a naan or popadoms for dipping in it.

Thank you for this thread as I've been trying to work out the same thing, really appreciate the suggestions and the tagine looks delicious

Any sort of curry over rice (I do a very easy Japanese curry using this ingredient).

I also do salmon/chicken and broccoli pesto pasta for my dc, that goes down well.
