Parent dropping off child to school with a human sized doll in the car!

Please don't tell me that this wouldn't worry you?

So on the first day of school my son was feeling quite nervous, so I decided to take him for a walk in the park which is just behind his school before dropping him off at 8:30. I parked near another 4x4 car under the trees, it was the only one there. At first I thought there's someone sitting in the front passenger seat, but as we got closer it turned out to be a human sized doll! My son said that this is so creepy and scary! I laughed it off but still I tought what the hell is this doll in leather crop top and mini skirt is doing in this car at this time?

After I dropped off my son to school and I went back the car has gone.

This morning I decided to go for a walk in the park after the school drop off and guess what? The car was parked again in the same spot. The doll was again sitting in the front seat, and the driver who is a male I would say in his fourties was taking a child in uniform out from the car seat at the back, held his hand and made his way to the school.

Is this normal? I spoke to a friend about it and she said that she watched a programme talking about these sex dolls and how some families are embracing them like family members?!!!

Grin @LonginesPrime

Pinkywoo · 04/09/2020 15:34

Precisely.

Pinkywoo · 04/09/2020 15:34

Quote fail!

HathorX · 04/09/2020 15:49

Would you have been happier if it was a frumpy, flat-chested sex doll?

user1493413286 · 04/09/2020 15:55

Are you sure it’s not just a child insisting on taking their doll to school with them in the car? DD had one and would strap it into the car and it would freak me out if I saw it in the rear view mirror and forgot what it was

CigarsofthePharoahs · 04/09/2020 16:03

Does the car belong to Noel Edmunds?

nosswith · 04/09/2020 16:07

Other than the traffic warden theory I cannot think of a good reason.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 04/09/2020 16:15

The conclusions people come to says a lot about them.
Why didn't you wait and ask, if you could see into the car?

Eng123 · 04/09/2020 16:26

I wouldn't bat an eyelid at this. It's in someone's car, it could be work related, security related or deviancy based but who cares! Incidentally is a sex doll so different to a vibrator? I don't own either but both are plastic gratification surely... ok neither are dash board matetial!

PickwickThePlockingDodo · 04/09/2020 16:33

I think we need a pic next time you see them, OP, blurring out her face obviously 😵

MimosaFields · 04/09/2020 16:50

It could be a manekin used for teaching rehabilitation techniques. It could be that he's driving to another town where priority lanes exist. It could be the child's doll. Who knows?

GlassInEachHand · 04/09/2020 17:16

JaJaDingDong
In some places, where road lanes are designated for cars with more than one person in them, people use these dolls to fool cameras into thinking they have a passenger.
This - even if these lanes are not used locally, the person might be about to drive somewhere that does have them. I found myself in one of those systems last week when alone in the car, and my first thought was "if only I had a life-size doll to put in the passenger seat..." Grin

SpicyEnchiladas · 04/09/2020 17:24

I don’t know but it’s really making me think about the little child.

I can never ever speak to the parent about it. What am I supposed to say?

I used to have a life sized doll, as a kid. It could be the kids

ShutUpaYourFace · 04/09/2020 17:51

Say "why have you got a blow up doll in your car?" You will either get a F off or a explanation.
Thread made me laugh, some people have all the balls. He maybe desperate to tell you and explain that he's not a weirdo! Or maybe he is!

nachthexe · 04/09/2020 18:05

I know a few people. Men (mostly) who want to use the multi-occupancy/ car share lanes or parking, and quite a few women who use them for security so they don’t get targeted as lone females. And thinking about it, I do know two people who are first aid instructors. One keeps Annie in her bag in the boot, but I have seen the other one strap a different model in for a laugh. Neither wear minis or crop tops though. 😂

PasstheBucket89 · 04/09/2020 18:09

its probably one of those wierd doll wives, some men do take them everywhere.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 04/09/2020 18:20

I wouldn't bat an eyelid at this

Really? If you saw a life sized, possible sex doll sitting in the front of someone's car, you wouldn't be a bit WTF?

SpicyEnchiladas · 04/09/2020 18:26

I sent another reply but it didn’t go through. Hope it shows now.

Why do you assume it's creepy? They may have a reason behind it. Since it's where many school parents drop off kids, not many want to be seen as weird by other parents, I'm sure.

It’s not where parents park to drop their children off. It’s in the park behind the school which is about 8 minutes walking to the school’s gate. Also he parks under a tree and not next to the pavement which is where park visitors park their cars.

FisherKingBlues · 04/09/2020 18:33

I expect he parks under a tree so that she doesn't get too hot. Dolls die in hot cars. Or is that dogs... Wink

liverbird10 · 04/09/2020 18:34

What a weird scene.

SleepingStandingUp · 04/09/2020 18:37

@rainwaterflow

Mind your own business, OP.
Don't be like that, we just want to know who's in your car
WaltzfortheMars · 04/09/2020 18:44

"I parked near another 4x4 car under the trees, it was the only one there."

"Also he parks under a tree and not next to the pavement which is where park visitors park their cars."

So you parked your car next to his, not next to the pavement like park visitors do? Why? Grin

SpicyEnchiladas · 04/09/2020 20:39

Oh come on now! I DID park on the road next to the pavement but my car was close to his car, possibly less than 10 meters away. His car was parked off the road, under a tree. Still perfectly legal, and some people will park there if all the parking spaces are taken. But they weren’t. When I went to park, his car was the only one I could see there. Also, we had to walk past his car the first time as it’s shorter for us to get to the pond where my son likes to walk.

Jesus christ!

Was this life-sized doll really wearing a cropped top and mini-skirt, or have you added that salacious detail? I teach BLS using a variety of mannequins - adult male/female/child/toddler/baby and the bigger ones don't fit in the boot. I tend to lie them down on the back seat though, rather than strapped into the passenger seat,

You've jumped straight to the sex doll/creepy man scenario without any proof.

Ask him. He might just be the infamous Davecat with his synthetic wife Sidora.
