Best alarm clocks (radio ones a bonus!)

Go go go!

I need a really good alarm clock that doesn't break the bank. Radio would be amazing and available on amazon or at least able to get before next week.

I have looked on amazon but so many choices. After turning up late to work once this week (I start very early) I am keen to find another solution where I can gradually wake up!

I have the Sandstrom S-DBTW18 from Currys and I love it, it raises the volume for the alarm steadily so it's not too abrupt.

One bad thing I find the with radio alarms is the power cable. You throw the darn thing across the room and when it reaches it maximum length (!) it springs back and hits you and it can really hurt.
On second thoughts that may be a good thing if you really have to get up.

I'm eyeing up a Lenovo Smart Clock at the moment.

I have one of the little Alexa ones that show the time. Really easy to set alarm and obviously you can listen to radio etc.

Depending on your budget, the Pure Siesta Rise is good. I think they still have a battery back up as well as being mains powered.

Me too, love mine 🙂

I've got a Pure one. It's the entry level but works well for me. I do use my phone as a back-up though.

I was given a voucher recently and invested in a Lumie wake up/sleep light. I've been using it this week as I'm back at work and it's made a huge difference to how I feel in the morning. Instead of hitting snooze 9 times and dragging myself up I find I'm really alert and have often been awake before the alarm goes off (unheard of!).

@Throughabushbackwards that looks amazing. I want that now!

Thanks all. Lots of options to look at!

I've been using the same Sony radio alarm clock for over 30 years now. I'd be devastated if it broke as funnily enough it's no longer in stock Grin
