@Nepsa - slice an onion into rings. Soak it in sarsons malt vinegar overnight. Perfect with roast beef.

My nanna used to make seafood sauce by mixing mayonnaise and ketchup, with a dash of Worcestershire sauce.
Don't like vinager so pickles with anything are out.
Heinz condiments are always best.
My mother used to eat porridge with her salt.🤮
The only time I've willingly eaten avocado was when my nanna made her posh prawn cocktail starter.

Mayonnaise and ketchup, with lemon and worstershire sauce, is Marie Rose sauce for prawns, so not weird at all (child of the seventies here).

Actually, I imagine that there is a LOT of seventies food that would seem weird to today's youngsters, but was the height of sophistication for us at the time. Grin
