Food flask ideas

I'm not found to have access to a fridge, kettle or microwave when I go back to work on Tuesday.

I've got a food flask but used it for pasta a couple of times last year (leftovers blasted in the microwave at home then poured into the flask) but it was lukewarm and soggy by lunch time.

Soup was OK but again - warm rather than hot.

Any food flask experts out there with ideas?

I've tried warming the inside of the flask with boiled water before adding the food with some success.

We use thermos food king and so far haven't had problems with the food getting cold. When microwaving stuff I do make sure I stir it and give it a final blast though, as I find our microwave doesn't heat stuff that evenly.

I'm not a great fan of pasta, as you say it tends to end up a bit stodgy, helps to cook it fresh and slightly undercooked. I've not had any sucess with reheating it without it turning to mush. The flask is good at keeping stuff cold though, pasta salads work well.

I tend to rotate through different soups (blending means you don't notice the soggy veg chunks). DS likes chilli, with tortilla chips in a separate container. Black bean burrito filling, again with a wrap and grated cheese in a separate box. Chorizo and bean stew.
