@giantangryrooster Hi, you asked about my snakes, up until lockdown I didn't own one, never mind three! I'd held my niece's African ground snake (smaller than a corn snake) a couple of years ago, and was fascinated by it. When lockdown happened, I started watching educational snake keeping videos on YouTube with different snake breeders, and settled on getting a ball python or a corn snake. I ended up with the corn snake first, had her for a couple of weeks then saw a YouTube video of a ball python breeder in Kent holding and talking about his snake collection, and he just happened to be holding a white ball python whilst he was talking. He was explaining that this particular snake was incredibly calm and friendly. I quickly went onto a website called Morph Market to see if he had any of his snakes for sale, and lo and behold the very snake he was holding in this particular video was up for sale, so I contacted him, and made arrangements to buy him and have him delivered (the snake obvs). The female normal (the dark brown one) I bought her about a month after I ordered the white one from a reptile shop near us on a whim (not ideal I know) so now have three! The snakes can bite obviously, up til now I haven't, but expect to at some point, and the female ball python is the biggest at about 4ft long and as thick as my arm. She's quite strong when holding onto me, but I don't feel in danger with any of them. She'll grow to about 5 ft and will hopefully weigh somewhere in the region of 4kg when fully grown. I also have two Lhasa Apsos, and don't worry about them being hurt. Ball pythons are shy snakes and try to avoid confrontation, the dogs are more likely to hurt the snakes (in theory anyway). I would never leave any of them unattended, I also don't have small children (just my adult kids here) but lots of people do have snakes with children. I'd never own any bigger snakes such as Boa constrictors, Burmese and Reticulated pythons, that's asking for trouble. Anyway sorry for the lecture, but that's how they got here 😂

A soggy chocolate lab, she's just had a bath as she immersed herself into some stagnant water on our walk this morning. She's lying belly up just airing off

Thanks @Fckingfuming Smile.

I think you are very brave starting out with three, I wouldn't know how to keep them (and probably wouldn't dare Wink).
