Apparently all those DIY shop kitchens are pretty bad.

The best ones are usually from IKEA, DIY kitchens or howdens. I got mine from diykitchens. Took a while to learn the cupboards etc but was very happy with quality and price.

Gave you also considered just replacing your doors and trims if you like your current cupboard positions etc?

We bought our house 20 years ago, a new kitchen would have been reet nice, we couldn't afford one, so held out for a Howdens kitchen once we had hammered the mortgage.

When it was all ripped out, last year there was a telephone directory hidden in there indicating that the kitchen was 35 years old, it had been a halfway decent one and tiling aside had stood the test of time.

We have an expression in this house, buy cheap, buy twice.

I shopped around a LOT and decide that DIY kitchens we the best quality for 'non bespoke' kitchens.

Their showroom is amazing. I've travelled 3.5 hours (each way) Twice to see it.

Loads of reviews on MN if you do an advance search.

Thank you all. The lack of positive Homebase experiences speaks loudly!
Will look at DIY kitchens 😊
