I keep seeing these pop up, different companies, often t shirts, tops, earrings etc.

Has anyone bought from these ads? I've seem some nice things, but don't want to be scammed.

I'd suggest Googling the company, looking them up on TrustPilot or similar. I've seen loads of these too, most of them already flagged up as companies in China who rip photos off Etsy of clothing and send you something poor quality that doesn't fit and can't be returned.

But obviously, some may be legit. As I said, Google is your friend here.

Just as @Zaphodsotherhead recommends - I always Google the company and most of the tme they have appalling ratings. I feel sorry for the legitimate firms trying to get known.

I made the mistake of buying some leather cleaner from a Facebook ad- all the reviews in the comments seemed really good but were clearly staged. When it turned up 6 weeks late it was two small tins of Vaseline- nothing like advertised. I had to raise a dispute with Pay Pal and they wouldn't refund till I had posted them back to Texas. The postage was almost the same as I had paid- total scam.
Saw an ad earlier that claimed to be selling a pair of "Oticon opn" hearing aids for £20. I am familiar with this brand of hearing aids and know they are around £1,200 for a pair so I knew it was a scam- they had clearly stole a promo video from somewhere else.
