Please help me find a (definitely non Nestle, ideally Fairtrade and palm oil free) alternative to KitKats

I’m not willing to buy Nestle products, and DH understands why and entirely supports that, but misses KitKats (I couldn’t eat them even if I wanted to - bloody allergies). He doesn’t miss them enough to betray principles and buy them, but would really rather like an alternative.

I am not hugely concerned about price (happy to pay a suitable price for something ethically sound - or at least less ethically awful than Nestle, plus it’s a treat) but would welcome any recommendations please.

(And for a mega challenge - if anyone happens to know of a dairy free version - haha - I know - I am asking too much! - I would be unbelievably grateful if you would please please please share?!)

Asking in hope more than expectation, but thanks if you read this far.

I've no idea if they fit the criteria but have you tried Lidl ones?
Iv none in to look at ingredients etc but you could have a look next time you pass one?

They taste much nicer than kitkats especially since kit Kat changed the recipe and turned rank!

Not dairy free obviously but they do have a free from section now so maybe there?

Can I recommend the choc affair? It’s in York and is a very fair employer.

My eldest is 20 so that means I've been boycotting Nestle on/off* for 20 years

*on - Me - Off - my family used to buy Easter eggs for the kids from nestle to wing me up the bastards
