Can anyone recommend an all inclusive hotel with swim up rooms? Looking at next May all being well, 2 adults 2 children. It'll be our honeymoon so really want to treat ourselves to a swim up room. Looking at Greece but open to other Europe based options. Thanks!

Following with interest, I've always wanted to go to a resort with swim up rooms.
My thinking was that my husband doesn't like being by the pool all day but I do so u can use the swim up pool while he goes into the shade .

@TeenPlusTwenties a swim up room is a ground level room that has a patio area and direct access straight to a strip of pool. It's not usually a very big pool but it's a great way of guaranteeing a sun bed! We have one booked at BLV next year, but we won't use it all the time, we like the big pools but it's nice to have a guaranteed spot. It only cost us £200 ish extra, wouldn't want to pay too much more.

We stayed at Daios Cove in Crete and had a swim up pool/semi private pool. It was fantastic! We were there in early May, so our pool was a little chilly in the morning, but soon warmed up (only the villas have a heated pool option). We don’t have kids but there were loads of activities available and a kids club I think, plus a lovely spa and gym. Food and drinks were great and the private beach was fantastic. We would love to go back! Here’s a picture of our pool, from memory the resort is a crescent shape so all rooms/pools have a sea view and get the sun.

We stayed at the TUI SENSATORI Atlantica Caldera Palace in a swim up room about 4 years ago and had a lovely time. The only downside to that hotel was that there was nothing outside, no village or bars or places to walk, but we needed to stay put and do nothing for a week so it suited us.

I’ve had swim up rooms at Sandals in Barbados and Secrets in Mexico. They are quite honeymooner-y!!

Thanks for all the great suggestions so far! I will look them all up.

@Turnedouttoes

Yes definitely check out reviews on TripAdvisor for advice on the best rooms. I’m quite militant in reading everything before booking anywhere and you’d be surprised how often people have booked swim up rooms to find they’re shaded all day or in a bizarre location at the back of the hotel or somewhere you wouldn’t want to sit all day
I am the same, I religiously read trip advisor reviews before booking anything, and have read a few reviews where the swim up rooms are in shade all day which is not what I'm after!

Thank you that sounds and looks fantastic!

Holiday Village Majorca has private pool swim ups (well 1 pool per 2 rooms) and Holiday Village Rhodes also has them that go into main pool. They are both amazing.
